I am 33 years old and grew up in Central Switzerland. Since fall 2015 I'm living with my family in Osh, Kyrgyzstan.
We have two boys aged 2 and 4. For around 12 years now I'm driving motorbikes. I've discovered and explored some of
Europes gravel roads in recent years, and now my passion to go offroad is on!
Travelling in all kind of ways was always a fascinating thing for me. It's a great pleasure for me to be one of MuzToos
new employees and I'm looking forward to upcoming Central Asian adventures on two wheels.

Urs has travelled central Asia many times, alone and as a guide, on motorbike. He knows the most beautiful routes in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and especially in Kyrgyzstan. In summer he lives in Osh with his wife, Maria. In winter he lives in Arbon, in Switzerland. He organizes and accompanies the motorcycle tours. He is our contact person for Switzerland, Germany and Austria.

Ich bin in der Ostschweiz aufgewachsen und lebe zusammen mit meiner Familie im schönen Appenzeller Land. Seit fast 30 Jahren fahre ich Motorrad, sowohl auf der Straße wie auch abseits der Straße. Vor allem das Reisen abseits asphaltierter Straßen ist meine Passion. Meine favorisierten Reiseländer liegen alle östlich der Schweiz, meist sind dies Staaten der ehemaligen Sowjetunion. Das Motorrad hat mich schon bis nach Russland, Kasachstan, in die Mongolei, nach Tadschikistan, Kirgistan und China geführt. Diese Leidenschaft für den Osten hat mich auch dazu angeregt, die russische Sprache zu erlernen. Ich liebe den Umgang mit Menschen, was man – wie man mir immer wieder sagt – an meinem ruhigen, hilfsbereiten und kompetenten Auftreten spürt. Auch in ungeplanten Situationen versuche ich Ruhe und Übersicht zu bewahren. „In der Ruhe liegt die Kraft“ ist darum auch einer meiner Leitsprüche. Ich bin teamfähig und interessiert daran, den Reiseteilnehmern eine unvergessliche Reise zu bieten.
